Travel back to a time of little to no traffic noise, loud neighbors and just the sound of nature and the wind. Queen bed in 600 sqft room over garage separate of main house that looks out to Blackwater Creek and swimming pool. Private bath with double sink, toilet and shower/tub, WIFI, Microwave and dorm fridge.

Mathews is a kayakers paradise, with a lot of launch spots.

Property has 9 acres, 7 of that is wooded. a 1/3 mile long driveway gives you ample space to take a walk in the woods without going in the woods. Deer, turkey, owls, hawks, osprey and bald eagles are some of the wildlife you may see on any given day. When the tide is up, try your luck fishing for croaker, red drum, striped bass (rockfish), speckled trout, cow-nosed ray and sandsharks. At night, when the wind is not blowing too hard, a bonfire may be lit, or if the sky is clear do a bit of star gazing as the nights get very dark.

There are several wineries with an hours drive.  Golf courses within 25 minutes to an hour and Bay Charter fishing nearby.
