Arts in the Middle, a juried fine arts festival

The 6th annual “Arts in The Middle” juried Fine Arts Show at Hewick Plantation in the small town of Urbanna, VA on May 30th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm and May 31st from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. No entry fee.

100 fine artists from all over the country will exhibit and sell their creations in 7+ media categories along the tree-lined drive.  Listen to 14 music performances featured throughout the weekend.  Stroll around the plantation with your wine, beer or champagne and enjoy delicious local cuisine. Purchase one-of-a-kind sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, paintings, fiber art, photography woodwork and more!  Visit the special section for our local artists and student artists. Kids can join the fun in a  hands-on “build a boat” complete with a sailing pond and painting activities. The award ceremony will  be on Saturday evening in 7 different categories.

Catch the trolley into town to enjoy Urbanna’s restaurants, boutique shops, lodging, art galleries, historical tour “Museum in the Streets” and town marina.
