The Property

Temple in the Woods is a bed and breakfast off the beaten path. It is located in Essex County Virginia and sits on 5.5 acres of wooded land with a beaver pond on the property. If you’re quiet, you might hear them chomping on a tree. This is a great place to unplug and unwind. The accommodations are more personal than hotels and with only two guest rooms there is never a crowd.

Our breakfast menu includes the kind of country style breakfast enjoyed while growing up in Charleston, SC, and homemade breads. We also prepare meals for those with dietary restrictions. Just let us know of your restriction and we will be happy to accommodate you.
