Please join us for a comprehensive, free training session on how to make the most of your resource partners. Meet the team whose mission is to help you succeed and grow your business. Light refreshments will be provided in the morning and a box lunch in the afternoon.

Where: Reading Room of the Viola Woolfolk Learning Center Library on the campus of St. Margaret's School. 540 Water Lane, Tappahannock, VA 22560. The Woolfolk Center is a tan, two-story building, located perpendicular to Water Street about midway along the campus itself. There is on-street parking as well as limited parking in front of the Woolfolk Center Library. 9:00 to 9:45 PTAC: How to Market Your Business to the Government and Take Advantage of Socio-Economic Certifications. This course will offer insider tips from buyers on how to increase your exposure and win more contracts.

9:45 to 10:30 SBDC: Will discuss services of the SBDC and historical perceptions of business in the region as well as opportunities for business on the Middle Peninsula.

10:45 to 11:30 SBA: Tools for Small Business-This session will cover Finance (Lender Match), Exporting, Disaster, R&D and other tools that are available to businesses.

11:30 to 12:15 SBSD: How to do Business With the State: SWaM Certification Process and Intro to eVA, Virginia’s Online Procurement Portal
